Young Kim, Vice President, Korea & Investments:

Young brings both investment and operational expertise to his role at 360ip. Prior to joining 360ip, Young was the Vice President at the Galleon Group where he analyzed and managed Asia technology investments which generated outstanding results. Before his role as an investor, Young worked at WaveMarket, a wireless location-based services (LBS) start-up, as the Director of Business Development, Asia Pacific. He successfully led the company’s first few commercialization activities of its proprietary technology platform products at prominent telecom operators in Asia. Prior to WaveMarket, Young was the Project Manager and Software Engineer at Bluefire Systems and developed and launched a proprietary category management system which generated highly effective results at the largest U.S. retailer. Prior to Bluefire Systems, Young served as a Software Engineer at Teradyne. Young holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is fluent in Korean and English and conversational in Japanese.
