A proven model efficiently identifies, commercializes and generates returns on the technologies emerging from our Partnership Benefits. We use a rigorous market-driven process that begins with integrating our Partnership Benefits' IP into our IP investment management database. This database is accessible across the entire 360ip network and is the central repository for identifying multinational bundling, investment, acquisition and licensing activities for our Partnership Benefits.
Once entered into our proprietary database, we evaluate, analyze and identify the full spectrum of licensing, maturation and investment opportunities. We assess the optimal mix of resources the team needs to achieve the targeted commercial outcome. During this phase of the relationship, we collaborate with the Research Partner to create an action plan and a "strategic road map" for all targeted IP.
Our process makes a clear distinction between licensing and investment opportunities. Each opportunity receives a tailored set of resources that matches its requirements for success. Technologies that are close to being market ready, fill an obvious market need, and are of interest to existing industry contacts follow a licensing track. Technologies that have the potential to achieve a sustainable revenue stream with the ability to establish a strong foothold in a specific market are positioned for an investment track.
360ip also recognizes some projects may not be ready to pursue either a licensing or an investment track. These opportunities are managed through a methodical maturation process, and are assigned a team that establishes and manages the necessary milestones to further develop the IP. Milestones are carefully monitored to maximize success and, if necessary, resources are also made available to integrate additional IP.
We work to create new companies based on promising technologies within an IP portfolio. Investments are also made in existing companies that demonstrate the ability to generate significant returns via the injection of IP from our Partnership Benefits.
