Ampulse is venture-backed company commercializing flexible film silicon photovoltaic technologies. The company’s innovative technology combines high efficiency electrical output with low-cost manufacturing to produce solar cells. Ampulse was formed as a spin-out of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, co-managed by Battelle for the U.S. Department of Energy. The company also leverages intellectual property developed at the National Renewal Energy laboratory (NREL), also co-managed by Battelle for the U.S. Department of Energy.
